Native video workflow integration
Send EZDZ Tandem Bookings to TandemReel
Keep customer, jump-time, package, and add-on details current in TandemReel without entering the same tandem booking twice.
Stop Entering Tandem Bookings Twice
TandemReel is an automated tandem skydive video editing platform. EZDZ manages the booking record and sends the details TandemReel needs for its workflow.
How to Connect TandemReel
Step 1
Create a TandemReel key
Create a dropzone integration and API key in TandemReel.
Step 2
Connect it in EZDZ
Open dropzone admin → TandemReel, paste the key, Save, then Test connection. The saved key is encrypted and is never shown again.
Step 3
Map your products
Recommended: use the package and add-on codes shown in the EZDZ TandemReel tab to map handcam, outside video, and photos to filming options in TandemReel.
Step 4
Enable Booking Sync
Turn on Enable Booking Sync and Save. New eligible bookings and later changes then send automatically.
Step 5
Send existing bookings if needed
Optionally choose a date range of up to one year and run Sync existing bookings. EZDZ processes the selected active bookings in batches.
What Syncs, and When
What EZDZ sends
- Customer name, email, and phone
- Jump date and time in your dropzone's timezone
- Booked tandem package name
- Purchased add-ons as product codes
- Booking reference, so updates reach the same record
When EZDZ sends it
- Online card bookings after payment is recorded, never abandoned checkouts
- Walk-ins and dropzone-paid bookings, including cash, comp, and non-revenue, when created
- Date, time, package, and add-on changes, plus cancellations and deletions (including after a refund), while sync is on
- Bookings placed on hold or marked no-show are removed from TandemReel's active list
The limits of this handoff
Sync goes from EZDZ to TandemReel only. It does not send prices, payment details, notes, staff, or videographer records. Video and share links do not come back into EZDZ. Product codes need mapping in TandemReel before filming options are assigned automatically.
TandemReel Integration Questions
What booking information is sent to TandemReel?
EZDZ sends the customer's name, email, and phone; jump date and time in the dropzone's timezone; the tandem package name; purchased add-ons as product codes; and a booking reference for updates. Prices, payment details, and notes are not sent.
When is a booking sent?
Online card bookings are sent once payment is recorded; abandoned checkouts are never sent. Walk-ins and bookings paid at the dropzone, including cash, comp, and non-revenue bookings, are sent when created. Later changes and cancellations follow automatically while sync is on.
What happens to existing bookings?
They are not sent automatically when you enable the integration. Use Sync existing bookings for a chosen date range of up to one year. EZDZ sends the selected active bookings in batches.
Do I need to map packages and add-ons?
Mapping in TandemReel is recommended. EZDZ lists the exact codes for your packages and add-ons. An unmapped booking still syncs, but it arrives without filming options, so staff must set those options by hand.
What if I turn booking sync off?
New sends stop immediately. Bookings already sent remain in TandemReel, and changes made while sync is off are not replayed automatically.
Is my customers' data handled safely?
The API key is stored encrypted for your dropzone and is never displayed again after saving. A key can connect to only one dropzone. EZDZ sends the booking fields listed above, without prices, payment details, or notes. A failed send does not block booking or payment; transient failures are retried once, and duplicate sends are safe.
